In order to improve the justice system of Georgia the court users satisfaction survey was conducted. 2252 court users were interviewed throughout 19-27 April, 2022.
The presentation of the survey results was held on June 2, 2022, at the session of the High Council of Justice of Georgia.
Among the interviewed court users:
- 1151 individuals fully trust the common courts (69.8% of interviewed court users);
- 1446 individuals consider that the court is completely independent (64.2%);
- 1610 individuals think that judges are competent and qualified (71.5 %);
- 1612 individuals are satisfied with the court services provided (71.6%);
- 1525 individuals consider that there is no corruption in the judicial system (67.7%).
The court users survey was conducted on the basis of the Decision of the High Council of Justice of Georgia and in accordance with the methodology determined by the Recommendations of the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ) - "For Conducting Satisfaction Surveys Aimed at Court Users in Council of Europe Member States".
