Internship

It is possible to undergo an unpaid internship at the High Council of Justice of Georgia. Internship is aimed at shaping interns as qualified personnel and developing practical skills by them.

Duration of internship is 6 months. This term may be extended until a new competition to select interns is announced.

A person having the highest legal education as well as final year and pre-final year students of law faculties are eligible to be appointed an intern.

Interns are admitted by a rule of competition, an interview and/or testing. Interns are appointed by the Secretary of the High Council of Justice.

Under the direction of the head of the relevant unit and under the supervision of an authorized servant, an intern performs specific individual tasks, which may concern matters of activity of the relevant unit of the High Council of Justice.

An intern is authorized, with the permission of the head of the unit of the High Council of Justice, to view official documents, use the relevant information, attend and take part in events organized by the units of the High Council of Justice.

An intern will be awarded a certificate if he/she successfully completes the internship.
